Esango Youth Group is a youth-led enterprise turning plastic waste and banana stem fibre into beautiful, durable products — while creating decent work for young people.
Upcycling plastic
We collect and sort post-consumer plastic from our community, then transform it into tiles, posts, pots and bags that last for years.
Banana fibre craft
Banana stems are normally discarded after harvest. Our artisans extract the fibre and hand-weave baskets, mats, bags and paper.
Youth opportunity
Every sale supports training and income for young people in Kisii and surrounding communities.
